OtterPilot

Otter Chat

A recent addition is “Otter Chat,” which allows you to talk to your meetings. You can ask questions like “What deadlines were mentioned in the marketing sync last Tuesday?” or “Did Sarah agree to the budget?” and the AI will scan transcripts to give you an answer.

Limitations

The free plan has limits on the number of minutes (300 mins/month) and duration per conversation (30 mins). Accuracy can decrease with heavy accents, overlapping speech, or poor audio quality, though it generally outperforms standard built-in transcription tools.

Workspaces

For teams, Otter offers “Workspaces” which act as a centralized repository for company knowledge. It allows you to create custom vocabulary (e.g., company acronyms, product names) so the AI learns to transcribe your specific jargon correctly.
